Accessible Tourism at Pinnacles Airlie Beach
At Pinnacles Airlie Beach, we are committed to ensuring every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay in the Whitsundays. We understand the importance of accessible travel and offer select apartments with level access from the carpark directly into the accommodation, catering to guests with mobility requirements. While our apartments are not wheelchair accessible, we are more than happy to discuss your individual needs.
Our elevated location on Golden Orchid Drive provides breathtaking views over the Coral Sea, offering a truly scenic experience. Please note that access to shared facilities such as the pool, gym, and sauna involves stairs, which may limit accessibility for some guests. Due to the gradient of Pinnacles, we would recommend any guests with mobility requirements to hire a car.
We encourage anyone with specific accessibility needs to contact our team prior to booking so we can assist in finding the most suitable accommodation and help plan for a smooth and enjoyable stay.

HIDDEN DISABILITIES SUNFLOWER
Pinnacles is proudly participating in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard scheme. This means that those with a hidden disability can wear a Sunflower lanyard or other merchandise to make their disability visible to those around them while travelling. Our staff have been trained to identify the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, gain a deeper understanding of hidden disabilities and learn how to approach and support passengers with a hidden disability.

Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to cook comfortably at your own pace, whether you’re catering to allergies, intolerances, or simply enjoying home-style meals while travelling.

Whilst Pinnacles is pet-free we recognise the valuable role of Assistance Animals and welcome trained, registered and accrediated assistance animals. Please advise upon booking that you will be travelling with an Assistance Animal. Please ensure you have your acceptable Assistance Animal evidence and paperwork ready when booking, and available upon arrival.
